ASEAN region has reported a total of 18,343,793 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 17 February 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 18,343,793 Covid-19 cases, this includes 318,713 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,966,046 people (145,622 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,644,597 people (55,223 deaths)
- Malaysia: 3,111,514 people (32,180 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,656,411 people (22,541 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,606,824 people (39,188 deaths)
- Myanmar: 553,564 people (19,318 deaths)
- Singapore: 514,880 people (926 deaths)
- Laos: 140,030 people (602 deaths)
- Cambodia: 124,343 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 25,584 people (98 deaths)
